Experienced climbers can spend a full day exploring some of North Conway’s most celebrated climbing terrain during this seven hour private climbing experience. Designed for climbers comfortable on five point five routes and above, the adventure combines challenging rock, personalized coaching and the opportunity to experience classic local lines.
The day can take climbers from the sweeping moderate slabs of Whitehorse to the steeper and more technical cracks of Cathedral Ledge. Routes are selected according to weather conditions and individual ability, with guides aiming to provide the best possible climbing experience while keeping the focus firmly on movement and adventure.
Participants will spend the day navigating multi-pitch terrain while developing efficiency, confidence and climbing flow. Guides provide coaching on movement, pacing and climbing systems, while climbers can also practice removing protection and breaking down anchors as followers. Demonstration equipment may be available for those interested in trying new gear.
The experience begins at Ledge Brewing Company at eight in the morning for check-in and gear fitting before carpooling to the crags. A private guide ratio of approximately one to two allows for more climbing with fewer interruptions. Participants should be prepared for steep, rocky and sometimes slippery approaches and should communicate any accommodation needs in advance.
