Maybe it was the bad weather but the tour was absolute garbage. Very overpriced and the food was disappointing. Not recommended at all.
You need to buy bread for fish feeding or else they will bite you🥹, but non the less i enjoyed feeding the fish
Waste-tour... Unfortunately this was the worst tour we did in our entire 3 weeks Palawan vacation. On the downside our banka was badly maintained and broken in parts (rotten wood and delamination on the rear deck, the tips of the bamboo floats on the outriggers were broken and the pieces were hanging off, the canopy had holes and the engine was extremely loud compared to the many other bankas we took). Long Wait for the boat, Long wait for the food. The places were all crowded and loud and the nature was anything else but pristine. Over all the tour would probably be a 3 star tour with a better boat, but I would give 0 points if I could, because the worst thing is the careless environmental attitude. Hundreds if not thousands of people are doing this tour on a daily basis. All of them eat at the same island in the same roofed structures/restaurant. None of them is taking-away the food or drinks but everyone is getting the food and drinks served on single-use plates, tools, gloves etc. An absolute nightmare for the environment. The plastic which gets washed ashore (not necessarily from this island), is hidden beneath the surface of the beach. I have personally witnessed how the staff there was collecting organics but also plastic from the beach and then was digging deep holes in the beach to just dump everything in it (including the plastic) before filling it up with sand again. To the organizers: Guys, if you want to keep Palawan as beautiful as it is, please wake up!
