Juneau Evening Whale Culinary Cruise

Enjoy an evening wildlife cruise through the scenic waters around Juneau while sampling Alaska themed appetizers. The three and a half hour experience combines approximately two and a half hours on the water with transportation time when applicable. The evening departure allows guests to explore Juneau during the day before setting out for a relaxing wildlife adventure.

An experienced onboard naturalist shares information about the regions nature, geography and history throughout the journey. Guests can watch for whales and other wildlife while enjoying views from the observation deck. The cruise offers a relaxed way to experience Alaskas coastal environment without requiring strenuous physical activity.

The culinary experience features locally inspired appetizers and desserts designed around Alaskan flavors. Vegetarian and gluten free choices are available, while the menu may change according to seasonal availability. Hot dishes are served during the first hour and a half, while cold selections and desserts remain available throughout the cruise or until supplies run out.

Guests should wear warm layers and bring a rainproof jacket for time on the observation deck. Those sensitive to motion sickness may wish to take medication before departure. The transportation van does not have a wheelchair lift, and three to four steps may be required when boarding or leaving the vessel. Beer, wine, soft drinks and additional snacks can be purchased onboard.
