PADI Night Diver Course Opens A New World After Dark
Ohana Diving in Miami Platja offers an exciting PADI Night Diver course for certified divers ready to experience the underwater world after sunset. Lasting approximately one and a half hours, the course introduces participants to night diving through a combination of online theory and practical underwater exploration.
The course teaches divers how to use flashlights, light signals and other communication techniques while navigating in darkness. Participants also learn how to manage their equipment in low visibility conditions and adapt their awareness to a completely different underwater environment.
The experience includes three night dives, providing opportunities to observe marine creatures that become active after sunset. Divers may encounter octopuses, cuttlefish, crabs, moray eels and other nocturnal species while exploring the seabed in a quieter and more atmospheric setting.
The program includes online theory and official PADI certification. Participants must be at least twelve years old and hold a PADI Open Water Diver certification or equivalent. Good physical health, diving insurance and a willingness to follow nighttime safety procedures are also required.
