Applicants must be at least eighteen years old and hold a Rescue Diver certification or equivalent. A current first aid and CPR certification obtained within the previous twenty four months is required, along with a medical certificate confirming fitness to dive. Divers need at least forty logged dives to begin the course and sixty logged dives to complete certification.
