Tera Risers Regatta Bellingham
The Tera Risers Regatta in Bellingham offers young sailors a welcoming introduction to competitive sailing. Held at the Community Boating Center in Bellingham, the event encourages participants to experience racing while building confidence and enjoying a supportive sailing environment.
Designed for sailors developing their skills, the regatta follows the Racing Rules of Sailing with a strong focus on safety and personal development. Participants can learn how competition works while developing teamwork, confidence and a healthy attitude toward racing.
The event is open to sailors who participate on a Development or Middle School sailing team and have completed a cold water capsize drill. Sailors must wear a wetsuit, USCG Level III lifejacket and suitable footwear while on boats or docks. Scholarship support is available for families who need financial assistance.
Cancellations made more than three weeks before the event receive a full refund. Cancellations made one to three weeks before receive a 50 percent refund, while cancellations less than one week before receive no refund. Sailors competing in the NWISA racing circuit cannot participate.
