Creative Rug Making Experience
This hands on workshop offers participants aged 15 and above a chance to create a custom rug using professional tufting equipment. The session lasts between four and six hours and is designed for guests who want to learn the basics of rug making.
Participants learn how to properly thread and operate the AK 1 cut pile tufting machine. The workshop also teaches essential rug tufting techniques while allowing guests to practice their skills throughout the creative process.
The workshop uses a 35 by 32 inch frame to create a rug measuring approximately three feet. All necessary workshop supplies are part of the session, making it easier for participants to focus on their design and crafting experience.
Every participant must complete the liability form before the scheduled workshop. Finished rugs are not available on the same day. Rugs are ready for pickup or shipping within three to four weeks. The workshop glue contains latex and guests with allergies should take note.
