The experience begins with an up close encounter with Teacup, an African crowned crane. Watch her take to the sky and perform graceful loops across the Southern California landscape. Observe her distinctive movements and learn more about the adaptations that allow this impressive bird to navigate the air with such elegance.

Next, meet one of the resident owls and experience the opportunity to catch and hold the bird on a falconry glove. Learn how owls use their specialized wing structure and silent flight to approach prey effectively. The experience gives guests a closer look at the features and natural abilities that make owls highly skilled hunters.

The final part of the experience features Halley, a Saker falcon, during an exciting high speed lure flight. Watch this powerful aerial predator demonstrate remarkable speed and precision before having the opportunity to hold Halley on the glove and observe her features up close. Handlers must be aged 9 or older, while spectators of all ages are welcome. As this is a live animal experience, interactions and timing may vary depending on weather, animal welfare, and safety considerations.
