Paddle Divas Kids Program offers a lively introduction to stand up paddleboarding while helping children build confidence and discover the natural world around them. Designed as an engaging water adventure rather than a traditional camp, the program combines paddling with practical lessons about water safety, marine sustainability, and environmental care.
Young paddlers develop essential paddleboarding skills and safety techniques under the guidance of ASI certified instructors who are also lifeguard trained. Through interactive games, exploration, and hands on activities, children learn about protecting bays, harbors, and inlets while discovering how climate change affects ocean environments.
Each day brings a different mix of activities, including paddleboarding, kayaking, raft games, beach games, scavenger hunts, nature crafts, friendship bracelets, and seashell jewelry making. Campers can also visit a shellfish hatchery to learn how clams and oysters support the bay ecosystem, while rainy day activities may take them to Amber Waves Farm or the Walking Dunes of Nappeaue.
The program creates a supportive environment where children can play, explore, create, and connect with fellow campers. With paddleboards, paddles, flotation devices, safety leashes, expert instruction, and a variety of nature focused activities, each day offers opportunities for learning and adventure. Campers arrive at 10 and can be picked up at 2.
