Beats on the Bay brings an unforgettable evening of live music to Bellingham Bay. Guests can enjoy a floating concert from their rented paddlecraft while taking in beautiful summer sunset views. The event offers a unique way to experience local music on the water.
Guests should arrive at the Community Boating Center by 5:00pm for check in. Boats leave the boatyard at 5:30pm and head toward the concert area. The music begins at 6:00pm and continues until 7:30pm, giving guests plenty of time to enjoy the performances from the water.
The event features talented artists from different musical backgrounds and creates a relaxed community atmosphere. Featured performers include Corazones de Cedro, Blessing Bled Chimanga and Band, The Pazific, and Henry Mansfield. Schooner Zodiac deck tickets are also available separately for guests seeking a different viewing experience.
Parking near the Community Boating Center can be limited, so cycling is recommended. A fitted and fully zipped lifejacket must remain worn throughout the rental. Alcohol and drugs are not allowed on CBC boats. Bad weather may change the concert location or lead to cancellation with a full refund when weather conditions make the event unsafe.
