Detroit Holiday Farm Club
Frampton Farm offers children an engaging half day holiday club filled with animals, outdoor activities, games, crafts, and learning. Designed for children aged five to twelve, the three hour session gives young visitors an opportunity to spend time on a working farm while discovering new skills and enjoying hands on experiences away from the usual school routine.
The morning begins at 9am with arrival at the cabin, where children meet the farmers and other participants. After a health and safety briefing, the group prepares breakfast for the animals before meeting and feeding them. Children can then take part in different animal care activities while learning about life on the farm.
A short drink and snack break takes place at 10.30am before the group returns to animal activities at 10.45am. Children can interact with the animals and take part in additional farm tasks. The session finishes at noon, giving children plenty of time to enjoy outdoor learning and make new memories.
The half day booking runs from 9am to 12pm and is designed as a drop off activity for children. Drinks are part of the experience, while children should bring their own snack. The farm is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility, so practical clothing and comfortable footwear are recommended for the outdoor activities.
