Step into Roseann’s world with a memorable half day horseback riding experience through the beautiful Faughan Valley. Designed for confident riders aged twelve and above, this unique trail combines scenic countryside, local history, and storytelling to create an immersive journey through the landscape and heritage of Ireland’s past.

The experience begins with a warm welcome and introduction to your horse, followed by a pre ride assessment in the arena. This important session helps ensure riders feel comfortable, confident, and prepared before heading onto the trail. Riding hats are provided, while the friendly local guide offers guidance throughout the experience.

Once on the trail, riders follow in Roseann’s footsteps while enjoying scenic views across Derry and Donegal. Along the route, the guide brings the early twentieth century to life through engaging stories about Roseann’s experiences and the characters who once lived along her path. The combination of horseback riding and oral storytelling creates a personal connection with the land and its history.

The experience is limited to small groups, with a maximum of four riders per guide, allowing for a more personal and relaxed adventure. Led by a knowledgeable guide with a passion for horses and heritage, the journey concludes with tea, coffee, and local treats.
