Skopje is welcoming wine enthusiasts to an intimate tasting experience showcasing the distinctive flavours and traditions of Macedonian winemaking. Hosted by Zaharchev Winery in a stylish tasting room at Ladies Bar, the experience offers visitors an opportunity to explore regional wines while enjoying a relaxed atmosphere in the heart of North Macedonia’s capital.

Guests are guided through the tasting by a knowledgeable sommelier who introduces the character and story behind each wine. The selection includes Temjanika white wine, Plovdina and Stanushina rosé wines, as well as Prokupec Classic and Vranec and Prokupec Barrique red wines. Vinjak is also served as a digestive, completing the tasting journey with a traditional local spirit.

The experience goes beyond wine tasting by pairing the drinks with a selection of three types of cheese, bread and prosciutto. As the tasting progresses, the sommelier shares insights into the winery’s history, production methods and the craftsmanship behind its bottles, giving visitors a deeper appreciation of Macedonia’s growing wine culture.

Designed as a private experience lasting approximately one and a half hours, the tasting provides an inviting setting for discovering local flavours and wine traditions. Bottled water is included, while public transportation is available nearby. Visitors should note that the venue is not wheelchair or stroller accessible and the experience is not recommended for pregnant travellers or people with heart conditions.
