Step back in time and explore one of the most significant battlegrounds of World War I with this full-day tour of Gallipoli from Istanbul. After a comfortable pickup from your hotel, travel in an air-conditioned vehicle along the scenic route to the Gallipoli Peninsula. Accompanied by a knowledgeable guide, learn about the strategic importance of the region during the war and the immense sacrifices made on both sides. Along the way, you’ll stop for a delicious lunch before heading to the battlefields.
Visit iconic locations such as ANZAC Cove, where the first troops landed on April 25, 1915, and the ANZAC Commemorative Site, which now hosts the annual Dawn Service attended by thousands of visitors each year. Walk along Brighton Beach and stand in the very places where soldiers fought and fell. Your guide will offer insights into the stories behind each site, giving voice to the experiences of both Allied and Ottoman forces.
Explore Johnston’s Jolly, where preserved trenches and tunnels give a vivid impression of the front-line conditions. This moving experience offers a rare opportunity to see history come to life in its original setting. My mum, sister and I had a fantastic time with Ibrahim (Ibo) on our Gallipoli tour. Ibo knew a tremendous amount about the area and was very happy to answer any questions. We visited all of the main sights (Anzac Cove, Lone Pine, Chinuk Bair among others) and we always had just the right amount of time to explore them for ourselves. We'd certainly recommend a guided tour rather than doing this alone in order to get the most out of the very emotional experience.

When you're on a 15 hour tour you want it to be flawless - and it was. Everything flowed smoothly throughout the day even though there were several transfers. The transportation was clean, efficient, and on time. The tour guides, Serhat and Simge, were wonderful. They knew the history and shared their knowledge in an entertaining way. We had a wonderful day with them. This is a great company. I highly recommend booking with them.

We really enjoyed our day tour from Istanbul to the Gallipoli Peninsula. It was a full day with a lot of information shared by our guide Ibrahim but it made the experience authentic and added to our knowledge of the Anzac story. This is a visit every Australian should try and do if they come to this part of the world… highly recommend!

Don't often leave reviews but felt obliged to give credit where credit is due. The team run a well organised ship, running many logistics across several variations of the tour and didn't miss a beat. As a kiwi, the Gallipoli tour was one of the most surreal travel experiences I've ever had with our guide providing expert knowledge on everything you need to know about the Anzac Troops. Would recommend as a must do for any Aus/NZ travellers visiting Istanbul/Turkey.

Back for a second tour with Crowded House Tours, this time a custom trip for five days from Antalya to Çanalakke. Now that I'm here I understand the juggling that was needed to get me here with, from my perspective, no real dramas. But I can tell from some of the transfers that there was quite a bit of slight of hand needed to make it all work. They chose nice but affordable 'boutique' hotels. Their 'people movers' are all new and very comfortable and I felt safe with all of the drivers. As a 'special' I asked if they could arrange for me to attend the memorial at the French cemetery on Gallipoli on April 24. Again they came through and I'm very grateful to Mrs Funda Erkus their operations manager for her efforts. Of course they run day tours and the Gallipoli and Troy tours are both popular. I did the day tour of Gallipoli this time and was impressed by our guide's depth of knowledge and ability to manage our tour to avoid the worst of the crowds. A big thumbs up and many thanks to the whole team.
