The ride was nice and nice experience. To be fair the places we stopped not much to see but was worth the ride. We were lucky cause in winter they only do 1 trip. On that day they did another at 1.30pm. So check times well so you will not be disappointed

It was a great experience on a beautiful fall day. We did not buy tickets in advance and there was plenty of room. Hikers will be able to get to different places along the route for excellent photo opportunities.

The Šargan Eight is a wonderful attraction, offering a scenic ride on an old-fashioned train through breathtaking landscapes. The journey to the final station takes about 20 minutes, followed by a 15-minute break. On the return trip, the train makes several stops along the way. Altogether, the experience lasts around two hours. It’s truly unique and very enjoyable—I highly recommend it !!!

A surprisingly great experience. The old stations, the train itself, and the scenery along the way really do make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time—100 years ago, give or take. Definitely worth it if you’re into history, nature, or just something different. We didn’t book in advance (which I’d recommend doing), so we ended up with standing tickets. Honestly, that turned out better than expected—still got the full atmosphere, minus the seat. Would do it again.

Visiting the Šargan Eight in Mokra Gora was like stepping into a storybook. The vintage train, with its charming wooden carriages, took us on a slow, winding journey through breathtaking mountain scenery. The track’s famous figure-eight design isn’t just an engineering marvel—it makes the ride feel like a scenic loop through time.
