Our experience in Egypt has been excellent due to the guides Ahmed albagdady (on the boat) and Mahmoud Abdelfattah (cairo). The customized our interests with their expertise to create a bespoke experience. You need to request them as your guide. The boat crew , staff, food prep was excellent. I highly recommend
Don't be fooled by the high reviews about this Cruise boat. Firstly this Cruise boat is budget and not Luxury. I slept on a bed ( Rm 338 ) that was as hard as a wooden plank. The staff were not engaging or friendly. The boat is only moving for two days out of the four. Other times you are parked up at a wharf next to other cruise boats which was disgusting, often noisy with so many fumes. Not my idea of cruising down the Nile. We left the boat a night early as we couldn't stand it any longer with another night docked at a wharf parked up two or three boats deep next to you. You are just looking directly out of your window with a boat right next door to your room with no view. Literally you can jump from one boat to another. My range slider did not lock so never felt safe. This wasn"t something we had planned for. This cruise was meant to be special as it was birthday but it was a real let down. They had organised a cake but I had a headache that night so gave it to the staff. The Cruise company had also without our authority organised a personal guide for the entire 4 night cruise .We never used him once as his prices were twice the cost of a local guides. It was a con from the beginning. Without having the French balcony in the room ( when travelling along the Nile with it open was just lovely) and the food overall tasty this would have been a disaster trip. The reviews about this cruise were all glowing but the reality is something quite different.!!! My advise is if you are going to do this budget Cruise only do two nights and make sure you are moving !!. The PR person for this company does a great sell job and buyer beware. Unless you are paying high end on another boat expect a budget experience here as this boat is. It was overpriced for sure as they sell this cruise as luxury. When you are paying for a so called luxury room on a budget boat parked on a wharf you could for the same price be actually staying in a luxury hotel on land !! My advise is don't be sucked in by the reviews as I don't believe any of them now having experienced this boat. I will be interested to see if my review gets pulled down somehow ?? so the truth doesn't get exposed.The company PR response to my review will all be a big I am so sorry etc etc then they will do everything to get it deleted.....
This cruise boat has a charming old-style atmosphere that older generations would probably love. The rooms are clean and well kept. Even though the boat is more than 20 years old, it’s still in good shape — a few cracks here and there, but no musty smell at all. The bathroom is very clean, almost like new. The food was tasty at every meal, with chicken, fish, and beef dishes served daily. The dining area can get a bit greasy with a strong fried smell, so be prepared if you’re planning to eat there — your clothes might catch a bit of it. Alcohol selection is quite limited, but prices are reasonable. The small pool is nice for soaking, though not really for swimming. There’s also a small spa with two rooms on the 4th floor — booking in advance is recommended. The massage was good, but a one-hour session only covers half the body. There’s also a small gym tucked away on the 4th floor — good for a light workout. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing. We were happy with the stay! 😊
The luxurious adventure of a lifetime! Since taking the 4 night, 5 day cruise from Luxor to Aswan on the City and Sea Adonis, i've been recommending it to everybody. The sites are MIND blowing. The A/C is amazing. The food was incredible. The staff was sweet and helpful The whole experience, from landing to our own private shuttle was smooth as possible. The Royalty Suite had TONS of space. Our private egyptologist guide was knowledgeable. The rooftop pool was deep and cool on those hot egypt days. Drinks were TOP notch. Ahmed, Abdullah, Muhammed, and Adel were all the BEST! 10/10 recommend this for anybody looking for a bucket list Nile experience! 🥳
Where to even begin with our incredible experience with City and Sea Adonis?! We did a 7 day Nile cruise and it was one of the most memorable experiences of our lives. We seamlessly booked directly through their website and the cruise far exceeded our expectations. What really stood out was the staff's kindness and attention to detail. Everyone on the ship went above and beyond to ensure all of our needs were met, and always with the biggest smiles on their faces. The rooms and facilities were sparkling clean, the bed extremely comfortable, and the entire ship had an incredibly charming feel to it. The upper deck was stunning and offered beautiful views of the Nile while offering a refreshing pool to cool off in. The food was excellent and the chefs prepared a delicious variety of food each day that left us wanting seconds and thirds. The cocktails were amazing and the mango juice was the freshest I have ever tasted. The chefs even made me a special soup when I wasn't feeling well. Our tour guide, Moataz, was incredible, he was so knowledgable, kind, and accommodating. He offered in-depth information and a thorough, yet easy to understand history about the temples and sites along the Nile. Each day the staff did something to make us feel special and welcome in this beautiful country. City and Sea Adonis does everything to make sure you have a stress free holiday- facilitating travel arrangements, airport pick up/drop off, and memorable excursions. I could write a novel about the staff's hospitality and how kind each person was on the cruise. We will be recommending City and Sea Adonis to anyone and everyone when considering their next travel destination.
