Start your day with a convenient hotel pickup in Vientiane and set out on a scenic journey to the picturesque town of Vang Vieng. The adventure begins at Namxai Viewpoint, where a short hike leads to sweeping panoramic views of the lush, green landscape below. Continue to the fascinating Jang Cave, a site rich in both natural beauty and historical significance. After exploring the cave, take a break and enjoy a delicious local lunch, recharging for the rest of the day’s experiences.

In the afternoon, cool off at Blue Lagoon 1, a popular spot known for its clear turquoise waters—perfect for a refreshing swim or just relaxing by the edge. Then, visit That Temple, a peaceful place offering a touch of Lao spirituality and culture. As the sun begins to set, experience the highlight of the day: a hot air balloon ride over Vang Vieng’s breathtaking scenery. Soaring gently above rice fields, rivers, and limestone cliffs, you’ll capture unforgettable views and memories. After a day full of nature, culture, and adventure, enjoy a smooth and comfortable transfer back to your hotel in Vientiane.

On the day I went, the weather was very clear. The price for a balloon ride, if it just goes up and down and stays still, it’s about 1,000 baht. But if you ride a floating balloon that moves, it’s about 3,000 baht. There are a lot of people. Inside, there’s a restaurant and a bathroom.

Great experience, 145 USD for a flight over the mountains at sunrise, very good service with breakfast and even champagne! The staff is great and very professional! Thanks to them

We had a lovely sunset flight. Our pilot was awesome, got us up in the air and back down again safely. Our flight lasted about 30-45 minutes… It’s rainy season now so we just flew over the city, but we definitely saw the mountains. The views were incredible. Just do it, especially if you have never ridden in a hot air balloon before, you can’t beat the value for the experience. You won’t be sorry you did!

A very beautiful sunrise experience. The flight was very peaceful for about 30 minutes. We only flew above the city. There's another company that goes deeper into the mountains, but it was fully booked for up to two weeks.
