This ecotourism-certified adventure, developed in partnership with Green Cross Romania and co-funded by the Environmental Partnership Foundation, takes you on a scenic and culturally rich journey through the Bucegi Mountains for one day and the stunning Piatra Craiului National Park for two days—one of the most beautiful mountain regions in Romania. Beginning and ending in Brasov, the trek ranges from moderate to challenging depending on whether you choose to climb the park’s highest peak at 2,238 meters, weather permitting. Each day includes 5 to 8 hours of hiking through dramatic landscapes, authentic mountain villages nestled at the foot of the mountains, and spectacular gorges. During the summer months, the experience is made even more memorable with a stop at a traditional sheep farm for a special local lunch. This guided journey blends nature, tradition, and sustainable tourism for an unforgettable mountain experience.
