West Coast Ireland Day Tour Combines Aran Island Escape and Cliffs of Moher Cruise

A full-day guided excursion along the Wild Atlantic Way is offering travellers a comprehensive journey through some of Ireland’s most iconic coastal landscapes, blending island exploration, limestone terrain, and dramatic sea cliffs into a single itinerary.

The tour begins with a scenic drive through The Burren, a unique limestone landscape known for its rare flora and striking geological formations, before arriving in the coastal village of Doolin. From here, passengers board a ferry across Atlantic waters to Inisheer, the smallest of the Aran Islands, where visitors have time to explore beaches, ruins, and quiet island lanes.

On Inisheer, guests can choose to explore on foot, by bicycle, or via traditional pony-and-trap transport, experiencing the island’s relaxed pace and strong cultural identity. The stop provides at least two hours for independent discovery, with views stretching across the Atlantic and back toward the Clare coastline.

The journey continues with a cruise beneath the Cliffs of Moher, offering a dramatic perspective of the towering sea cliffs from below the rock face, followed by a cliff-top visit for panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean.
