Owl Encounter (Falconry 301) - Camp Mary Orton (Columbus)

Discover an intimate wildlife experience in Columbus with a guided owl encounter set in the natural surroundings of Izaak Walton League Medina. This two hour program offers a close up introduction to some of the oldest and most fascinating birds of prey on the planet. Led by experienced handlers, you will learn about owl behavior, their role in the ecosystem, and how they are used in modern falconry practices.

During the session, you will get the chance to observe and interact with a variety of owl species while gaining insight into their unique adaptations and silent flight abilities. Each guest will also have a special opportunity to take a photograph with either Henson, the Eurasian Eagle Owl, or Quinny, the European Barn Owl. This memorable experience combines education, wildlife connection, and hands on interaction in a safe and engaging environment.
