Discovery Lab Open House

Discover an engaging educational experience at the Discovery Lab designed for visitors of all ages. This open house invites guests to explore interactive displays and learn about coastal wildlife and local environments. Visitors can observe live animals including fish horseshoe crabs hermit crabs frogs lizards snakes and even a friendly alligator. The hands on exhibits encourage curiosity while sharing stories about the regions history and natural habitats. Guests can drop in during open hours and stay as long as they like making it a flexible and relaxed activity for families.

The Discovery Lab building has its own historic charm. Originally constructed around nineteen hundred as a supervisors house the structure was later renovated and transformed into an educational space. Today it supports interactive learning programs and animal displays used throughout the year. A suggested donation applies for participants aged four and above and children must attend with an adult. No reservations are required allowing visitors to enjoy a spontaneous and informative visit filled with learning and exploration.
