I'll be honest, before arriving, I had some hesitation about visiting Tangier. I wasn't sure what to expect and questioned if it would feel safe. Those worries disappeared the minute our tour began. Karim handled all the logistics with calm, clear communication. Everything from meeting times to transportation was smooth and stress-free. Then we met Majid, and that's when the day truly came alive. We visited the view point at the Strait of Gibraltar, then took camel rides on the beach. Which sounds touristy, and maybe it is, but it was unforgettable. The ocean breeze, the wide open coast... It felt like a dream, in the best way. And then, lunch. Majid took us to a tiny, tucked-away spot that we never would've discovered otherwise. No frills, just incredible, authentic food, clearly made with pride. It was one of those meals you remember for a long time. Majid is the kind of guide you hope for. He's not just knowledgeable, he's passionate about his city and its story. We wandered the backstreets of the Medina, discovered hidden courtyards, and heard the kind of history that feels like it's being passed down just for you. I saw places I never would've found on my own, and felt completely safe and at ease the entire time. Looking back, I'm a little embarrassed that I ever questioned coming to Tangier. It turned out to be one of the most memorable days of our trip, and that's entirely thanks to Majid and Karim. If you're on the fence, go. You won't regret it.

Wow! We booked the city and food tour and it exceeded our expectations. Our guide Mohammed was super knowledgeable and fun to chat with. He took us to places that we would have never been able to see or taste if we didn’t book this tour. Highly recommend! One of the best tours we have done in a while.

Mohammed was fab and his English was so good. He told us lots about the history of Tangier and Morocco and took us to places away from the usual tourist traps. The food was fresh, delicious and authentic. My favourite was the split pea soup - and I was allowed to stir the soup pot. It was a really professional tour and lots of fun - it was all inclusive so Mohammed paid for everything which was very welcome. We would highly recommend his food walking tour if you want a great guided tour in Tangier! We'll definitely do it again next time we're in Tangier.

Spending most of each year seeing the world and hiring private guides almost everywhere we go, my wife and I rank Mohammed and his Tangier Private Tours the best touring service we've ever used. We came by Mohammed through word of mouth. Friends of ours—also frequent travelers and very tough critics—returned from a 12-day Morocco tour with guide Mohammed and driver Ramzi and absolutely raved about their tour. After our very first contact, we knew we made the right choice. With Mohammed’s huge and patient help, we put together a 15-day itinerary that really covered this beautiful country, including Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts, Rif and Atlas Mountains, and Sahara Desert. His lodging recommendations—mostly riads, a couple kasbahs, and a luxury tent in our case—were perfect. Along with another couple of close friends, we embarked from Casablanca on a trip of a lifetime. Our immaculate Mercedes van comfortably fit the six of us. Ramzi, our fantastic driver, safely navigated us through unruly city traffic, over narrow, winding mountain roads, and on long desert stretches. Right from the start, it was obvious to us that Mohammed and Ramzi were an amazing team. The logistics of our itinerary were so incredibly well thought out and planned—sights, stops, drop-off and pick-up locations, restaurants—everything perfectly synchronized. In touristy places, we always seemed to beat the crowds--we never waited anywhere. There were also the spontaneous times, though. One of the most memorable times was a totally impromptu visit with Berber nomads, who treated us to tea and music in their tent home. Throughout our 15 days together, the four of us always had the sense that Mohammed and Ramzi were out to give us the best, most comprehensive, most fun, and safest tour of their country. They really cared. Not only did we learn so much about Morocco, but we came away feeling that we had made two new wonderful friends.

Took the 3 hour walking tour with lunch. Mohammed was a great guide. We were two people and had our own private tour. He picked us up at our hotel and we walked over towards the Kasbah. He is very well informed about Tanger and about Morocco in general. He gave us some greats tips for our stay in Tanger. The tour ended with a very tasty traditional lunch in a very local restaurant. I would recommend this tour to anyone. It was worth every penny. He also offers tours all over Morocco.
