The Erfoud Sunset Desert Trip by Camels in the Merzouga Dunes begins at 18:00 PM when our driver picks you up from your hotel or riad in Erfoud. The entire excursion lasts approximately four and a half hours. Upon arrival in the Merzouga desert, you will switch from the 4WD vehicle to camels for a memorable trek into the dunes. There, you’ll settle into the soft sand and watch the magical Sahara sunset, a peaceful and unforgettable experience surrounded by the vast desert landscape.
After the sunset, you will ride the camels back to the starting point where the 4WD will be waiting to take you back to your accommodation in Erfoud. Once your reservation is confirmed, we will send you an email with the exact departure time, as sunset timing varies depending on the time of year.
