Originally established in 1892 as a three-hole golf course, this historic Catalina Island landmark has evolved through several stages of development over more than a century. The course expanded to nine holes in the early 1900s before becoming a full eighteen-hole layout in 1929. Following World War II, the property was redesigned and returned to a nine-hole configuration in 1945, a format that continues to define the course today.
