Hauraki Gulf Jetski Adventure Explores Islands, Wildlife and Coastal History

The journey begins at Big Manly Beach, where a guided jetski adventure sets off across the beautiful Hauraki Gulf. Travelling north of the Whangaparāoa Peninsula, riders enjoy a relaxed half-hour ride toward Motuora Island, where crystal-clear waters offer opportunities for swimming and snorkeling in peaceful surroundings.

The experience continues toward Moturekareka Island and Motuketekete Island, where quiet channels open into scenic coastal views. At Moturekareka, visitors can view the historic Rewa shipwreck resting near a sheltered bay, with additional time set aside for swimming and exploration in calm waters.

The adventure then moves onward toward Kawau Island, where natural beauty and history come together across a striking coastal landscape. Along the way, the route passes Beehive Island and Dispute Cove, where a historic copper mine chimney stands as a landmark before reaching Kawau Island.

At Kawau Island, guests relax at Mansion House Bay Café, enjoying refreshments and peaceful surroundings before beginning the return journey south across the gulf. Wildlife sightings such as dolphins, whales, kahawai, and stingrays may be encountered along the way, adding excitement to the ride before returning to Big Manly Beach after a memorable day on the water.
