Catalina Island Dive Camping Package Combines Shore Diving and Island Camping

This Catalina Island diving adventure blends coastal camping comfort with immersive underwater exploration at Casino Dive Park. Guests stay at Hermit Gulch Campground, where tent cabins accommodate three to six cots and come equipped with a lantern, propane stove, and propane canister. Each campsite also includes a picnic table and charcoal barbecue, creating a relaxed setting for meals after a full day of diving.

The experience offers unlimited shore diving at the Catalina Casino Dive Park, giving divers easy access to clear waters and vibrant marine life directly from shore. In addition to shore diving, participants can enjoy a boat-based two-tank dive aboard the Scuba Cat, exploring deeper sites and experiencing Catalina’s rich underwater ecosystems.

Designed to balance adventure and comfort, the itinerary keeps guests close to nature while supporting a full diving schedule. Campers are encouraged to bring personal essentials such as tents, sleeping bags, pads, stoves, and lanterns to ensure a comfortable stay and avoid interruptions during their trip.
