So the Soufriere caldera is along a public road but it's 9USD to enter and have a guide and another 10USD if you want to cover yourself in mud. There were a few too many people there to make the latter an attractive proposition for me but others certainly seemed to be having fun. If you can stand the steep climb up the back there's an information centre with a short video introduction in a choice of 6 languages as well as a small and slightly tired group of exhibits. Definitely worth a visit but it isn't Hawaii....😊

I love taking people to see this live volcano. When you go, do the volcanic mud bath. Learn about the history, the minerals and what helps this island šŸ be one of the best places to visit in the Caribbean. I am St.Lucian and love to travel. So I brag about my Island. You must go visit.

The guided tour to the dormant volcano was really interesting and our guide was really funny at the same time. The mud baths are definitely a must while in Saint Lucia, nice soft skin afterwards. We did the mud baths first in the morning and then the volcano, just because of the heat and it was less crowded. It was a well spent morning. There are toilets, shower available and a few shops with souvenirs. We ended our morning with a refreshing coconut water. Highly recommended.

We loved it so much here that we visited twice. Between a volcano you can drive into, the informative tours, and how amazing the natural mud baths are - this is the ultimate experience. When there’s not a tour there it’s super quiet and laid back, fairly inexpensive too! Our skin still feels amazing, a great connection to the Earth!

A volcano you can actually drive into? Yes, please! It was such a cool and unique experience. The bubbling sulfur springs, the steam rising all around — it feels like stepping onto another planet. Don’t skip the mud baths — messy, fun, and so good for your skin! A must-do while in Saint Lucia!
