We really enjoyed our stay, perfec t choice, walk to tr Beach, park, af restaurants, Staff was awesome, Hi Carlos! We saw Monkeys everyday, and even a toucan from our Balcony. We would definitely stay again.
Great location. Would recommend staying here when coming to tikal. We stayed for 2 nights and loved it. You can do bird watching from the hotel courtyard. Here we saw tucans & Oropendolas. Good food in the restaurant also after going to the park. Room was spacious & bed was beautifully made when we arrived. Hot water also.
Staff was nice. The rooms super clean, well equipped with the basic things you need. Beds were firm and comfortable. Location is super close to the beach, walking distance. For locals, the food and drinks at the hotel are a little bit expensive, I’d recommend looking for other options nearby to eat. Close to the hotel there is a mini super in case one needs drinks and snacks. My only complain about the rooms would be the thin walls, late at night you can hear your neighbors closing doors or walking.
We really loved Jungle Beach Hotel! The location is perfect, you can walk to the beach, walk to MA park, walk to many restaurants and many more just a short drive away. Monkeys are always around! Howlers seem to be in the big trees on the property all the time. Mono Titis (squirrel monkeys) visit very often, as do the capuchins (cara blancas). We saw deer on the property, macaws in the almond trees at the beach, a toucan, iguanas, agoutis, a sloth.... all before we went in the park!! The restaurant has good food, the pool is awesome.... Rooms were clean and comfortable with hot showers and cold ac. Staff was friendly and helpful. The grounds are lush and well designed. I don't know what more you could ask for! We'll choose Jungle Beach every time and recommend it to friends!
The pool and restaurant area is lovely and relaxing. My mom and I made friends with Carlos, the bartender, who was great to talk to about music and helped us look for wildlife. From the pool deck, we saw two types of monkeys, deer, hawks, rails, hummingbirds, frogs, and geckos. The food is reasonably priced and tasty, and the rooms are clean, with lots of comfortable places to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful surroundings, even when it's raining. Leo, the concierge, helped us with transportation and recommendations about the area. This is my second time staying at Jungle Beach Hotel, and I will be back again!
