Cambridge Day Trip

This eight hour tour explores the beautiful and historic city of Cambridge. Founded in 1209, Cambridge University is home to some of the most famous colleges in the world. The tour walks through a variety of college architecture from Kings College Gothic halls to Trinity College Tudor buildings, Pembroke College Baroque style, Corpus Christi Neo-Classical facades, and the modern Queens College Brutalist design. Guests also visit very old churches, some with surviving Anglo-Saxon fabric, offering insights into the city’s long religious and cultural history. A scenic walk along the River Cam, including its famous bridges, shows the city from a unique perspective. Along the way, stories of great scientists such as Newton and the discovery of DNA are shared, alongside literature, philosophy, and the development of football rules in the 1860s. Photography opportunities and short walks allow guests to take in the charm and character of Cambridge while learning its history.

The tour combines history, science, and culture in an accessible and relaxed pace. Stops are frequent for photos, short walks, and scenic views along the river and college quads. Transportation is in a comfortable taxi with air conditioning and wifi. Guests are picked up and dropped off in central London. Lunch is not included but can be enjoyed at local cafes or restaurants along the route.
