We had an incredible 3-night stay at Abhaig Boutique B&B and wished we could have stayed longer! Viv and Steve were exceptional hosts. Our room was beautifully decorated, cozy, and spotlessly clean. We loved relaxing in the breakfast room at night with tea and Viv’s delicious homemade cake—it felt like a cozy café! The breakfast menu provided many options, and everything we ate was delicious. The views were stunning! Thank you, Viv and Steve, for making our trip to Skye unforgettable!

Like so many others, we loved this place. The hosts, Viv and Steve, are such warm and welcoming hosts. They’ve created a beautiful and relaxing space in the bothy. The breakfasts are delicious. That you can choose from a wide selection is a bonus. They also provided us with tips about what to see, and the best ways to see the things the Isle of Skye has to offer, from tips on how to get to sights, as well as some great places to eat. If anyone is looking for a special place to stay on the Isle of Skye, Abhaig B&B would be very hard to beat. Can’t wait to return.

Our favourite place to stay during our Scotland trip! From the moment of booking, Viv and Steve were warm, welcoming and had excellent communication. Fantastic location in Uig- far away from the bustle of Portree but still very accessible to all the main sights via a short drive. The Bothy is pure magic. They've created a serene, beautiful and cozy place to stay and recharge. Breakfast is a delight. All freshly made with care and a plentiful meal to fuel our adventures. The dinner platter and surprise baked treats were equally lovely and delicious. Viv and Steve (and Archie) are so warm and hospitable. They take care to get to know their guests. We just left but already can't wait to come back :)

This was our favourite accommodation during our trip. The hosts are absolutely lovely and gave us great recommendations. The room was tastefully decorated and comfortable. They have thought of everything from artisan chocolate on your pillow to made in Scotland bath products. The breakfasts were exceptional, with great choices. I recommend enjoying a picnic platter in the dining room perfect after a busy day exploring Skye. I wish we could have stayed longer and hope we have a chance to visit again.

We had the most wonderful stay at Viv and Steve’s wee bothy! From the moment we arrived, they made us feel right at home—attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely kind hosts who took care of our every need. Viv greeted us upon arrival, gave us a tour, and made sure we knew all the information we needed for our stay. She kindly gave us recommendations for a peaceful sunset walk once we settled in. One of the highlights was meeting their lovely chocolate lab, Archie, along with the other pups they were looking after. We also enjoyed a sunset walk with the sheep in the pasture behind the bothy (as recommended by Viv) and it was pure magic. The views from the bothy in the evenings were nothing short of dreamy. Every night we watched the sunset paint the sky from the chairs behind the bothy. Breakfast each morning was fantastic, better than any restaurant. Viv went above and beyond helping us plan out our days to make the most of our time in the area. It was a truly special experience, and we’re so grateful for their hospitality. We will definitely be back to stay again on our next trip to Skye! Until then, the small painting of their orange fence gate will hang on our wall to remind us of the magical place that The Isle of Skye is. Highly recommend! Sincerely, Claire and Blake
