I did the tour with my husband on Thursday 14th November 2025 - Alan our driver was very welcoming and the trip was prompt on time. We learnt so much about the history of our tour - the group we travelled with were all great - overall we had a great day out. I would just recommend a couple of extra stops for photos to be taken but apart from that I can’t complain. Once again a big thank you Alan for driving us safely to the tour and back. Baljit

We took a 3-Day tour of the Highlands (The Ultimate Skye Experience) and it was awesome, we fell in love with Scotland! We visited great places like Glencoe, Loch Ness and many more off-the-beaten-track locations. Kudoz to our guide Hugh who took super good care of us and went out of his way to show us this beautiful land. Thank you so much! Hope to be back soon!

This is a good trip if you want to go to Loch Ness and enjoy the pretty views of the Highlands from the bus. Unfortunately it wasn’t the best fit for me because I was hoping to have more opportunities to take photos. Most of the views we got were from the bus window. Also when we stopped in Glen Coe, the parking area was full so we had to go to a different spot with less interesting views. Perhaps taking a tour on a smaller van would make it more likely you can stop in the intended spots. As someone who is into photography, next time I think I’ll rent a car or find a different tour that has more opportunities to stop in pretty spots to take photos. This also wasn’t great for me as a solo traveler because the bus was packed so I had to sit next to a stranger all day. And you spend most of the day on the bus. Besides the Loch Ness boat ride, the only other time you’re off the bus is really when you stop at gift shops to get food and use the toilets. Again, if you’re interested in sitting on a bus most of the day and just looking at the pretty views out the windows this is good for you. But if you want more flexibility and more opportunities to take photos, I’d probably look into other options. The bus driver was great though- very entertaining!

We had a wonderful tour with Highland Experience! Kenny was a fantastic tour guide in every way. A great mix of sightseeing, history, humor, and culture. Mr. Kirk quickly established the individual circumstances of folks in our group and customized the experience perfectly. We appreciated his extensive familiarity with the locations, including less traveled roads, amazing scenic stops, and every detail - right down to where the best toilets are! While driving, Kenny provided insight, stories, history, and local music that enhanced the drive and sights. Selecting the music was a particular skill - ranging from energetic at times to reverent as well experienced Culloden Battlefield. The local bookings were great - we felt lucky to have dinner and attend a Ceilidh! Kenny was fantastic! The tour bus was clean and comfortable! The weather was very nearly perfect (OK, Kenneth may not control that, but it was great). Highland Experience was a great choice.

My best friend and I booked a tour for a two day Highlands Tour with the Hogwarts Express. We had such an incredible two days. Our tour guide Steven B, did such an amazing job! I learned so much about the history and areas around Scotland. We saw some absolutely incredible and stunning areas throughout the Highlands that pictures can’t do the breath taking experiences justice. The bus ride was smooth and Steven B was a blessing with his commentary and charm throughout the trip. He also made pickup and drop off information and instructions clear and straightforward. All in all, I had an incredible experience and would definitely recommend Highland Express Tours! Thank you Steven B!
