Ireland, one of the most beautiful places on earth. It is a feast for the eyes with colors so beautiful you can’t believe what you’re seeing. That being said, if you are planning a trip to the Emerald Isle soon, Personal Tours Ireland, with owner and operator Peter Cooney is the only way to experience the country, not just with your eyes, but with your soul. With Peter, you will not just see the beauty of the Ireland rather, you will be a part of the beauty. My husband and I recently had the privilege of having Peter as our personal guide for 13 days around the entire perimeter of Ireland. His professionalism, punctuality, and attention to every detail is impeccable. Most importantly he connects with his clients on a personal level focusing on them and whatever their needs are at that time. His knowledge of Ireland and its history is extensive whether he takes you to high tourist spots or the hidden gems off the beaten path. He is an excellent driver with great navigational skills. Most of all he is a proud Irishman who wants to share his deep love of his land with others. Peter Cooney is the best of the best as a tour guide. With your requests and a few suggestions, he will create an itinerary that is sure to please. His commentary as you travel the beauty of Ireland will add to your experience and your memories. Of course you will see touristy places, but he knows endless beautiful places to see that are off the beaten track. No matter what you are into... hiking, pubs, food, museums...there is no limit to Peter's participation and guidance. I have been on 3 tours with him. He is a kind, personable gentleman who values safety and care of his clients. The time you will spend with Peter will be filled with fun, be entertaining, educational and filled with lasting memories.

Peter provided us with the best week in Ireland. After discussing what we were interested in seeing/doing, Peter laid out an itinerary for our trip. He was very easy to work with an responsive to our questions. He provided great insight into where to stay and what to avoid. During the trip he was flexible but also kept us on time so we didn't miss anything. We were able to extend time at certain locations or shorten based on what we were feeling. It was perfectly tailored to out needs and wants. Peter also provided exciting commentary during the trip on history, current events, traditions, etc. Peter is very down to earth, genuine and maybe most important he had a great awareness of himself and the group. I highly recommend Peter and Personal Tours Ireland.
