My partner and I celebrated our anniversary in Paris and booked four private tours with My Private Paris, based on a friend’s recommendation: 1) Full day at Versailles, the French Royal Domain (Guide: Romain); 2) 3-hour Louvre Museum Exclusive Private Tour (Guide: Romain); 3) 3-hour Explore Montmartre - the Iconic Hill of Artists and the Belle Epoque (Guide: Audrey); and 4) Napoleon Tour: Invalides & Arc of Triumph (Guide: Lucien). We spaced out the tours, with two per week. I worked with Ludivine over email about two months in advance to customize our itinerary, which she prepared and made available to us through a link. Her communications throughout the experience were prompt and professional and she answered all of my questions so that we were prepared beforehand. It was so helpful to not have to worry about the details for these experiences, since I was busy planning the rest of our itinerary—even better when we were in Paris and could just wake up and the only things we had to worry about were whether to bring an umbrella and getting to the meeting point (either in our hotel lobby for Versailles or a short walk away). We had an outstanding experience on our private tours. From start to finish, everything was handled with incredible professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail. We received reminder emails the day before each tour and friendly texts from our guides the morning of the tour, confirming they were in place at the meeting point. Our guides were extremely knowledgeable about the relevant history and culture and made every stop come alive in a memorable way. The guides were very personable and upbeat—to the point where we were sad leaving them! They personalized the itineraries to our interests and were flexible throughout the tours, adjusting the pace, and making sure we were always comfortable (asking if we needed a coffee/water or restroom break, etc.). Transportation (private SVU for Versailles, Driver: Walid, and the metro from Invalides to Arc De Triomphe) were comfortable, convenient, and efficient. We especially appreciated the guides’ insider recommendations for local food, shops, and experiences we never would have found on our own. We felt safe, relaxed, and completely taken care of the entire time. The tours were immersive, engaging, and genuinely enriching. Absolutely priceless. We recently used My Private Paris for a four day trip for a family of five. From my first video conference exploring and scheduling our itinerary, which ended up including three separate tours, an evening river cruise/dinner, as well as pick up and drop off’s at the airport, the experience was exceptional. The team was always prompt, provided a clear and easy to use itinerary, and regularly communicated about upcoming visits. We visited Montmartre, did a “Best of Paris” tour and explored the Louvre in the evening. We were in incredibly good hands with all three of our guides. They were all kind, incredibly knowledgeable, and they all clearly had a love for what they showed us. The pacing was perfect with enough time to explore and take photos without ever feeling rushed. Though both my wife and I had lived in Paris when we were younger, we learned so much. Whether you’re visiting Paris for the first time or returning to rediscover it, I can’t recommend My Private Paris enough.
We only had two full days in Paris, and My Private Paris made every moment count. We did three different tours with three different guides, and each one was fantastic: a half-day chauffeured sightseeing tour with Christina, the Catacombs with Raphaelle, and a Central Paris walking tour with Dina. We also enjoyed a private cruise on the Seine and arranged our airport transfer through them. From my very first Teams call with their planner to the clear communication throughout and the flawless execution of each experience, everything was wonderful. Thanks to their expertise, we were able to see so much more of Paris than we ever could have managed on our own. Highly recommended and absolutely worth it!
We enjoyed a half day private tour of Giverny with Quentin. He and our driver were on time, and the drive from Paris was lovely. Once we got to Giverny, our trip was vastly improved by being with Quentin. He is very knowledgeable about Giverny and Monet, but was especially helpful navigating us through the crowds. (It was crowded!). Getting us right to the house before the line got too long, sharing his insights about paintings and Monet’s life, touring the gardens and the famous lake and bridge were all wonderful. We enjoyed our time with Quentin and would be delighted to tour with him again. Definitely recommend.
My partner and I booked 6 different tours with My Private Paris during our trip to Paris in March. Each of the tours turned up to be wonderful, and together they made our time in Paris one of our most cherished moments in our lifetimes. We would like to begin by sharing our favourite tour, which is the full day Versailles and Petit Trianon tour with our lovely tour guide Victor. We really adored Victor for not only his passion and knowledge, but also for his kindness, humor and attention to detail. He even gave us a sweet little surprise by bringing us French pastries for our indulgence while strolling on the Royal Garden. Throughout the tour, his great storytelling elevated our understanding and admiration of the Palace, the Garden and the Petit Trianon, and his care for us had made us feel very comfortable and at ease. It was a perfect full day tour, and we felt like we gained a friend in the end. We had another amazing full day tour when we did the Paris Highlights Tour with our delightful tour guide Soline. We greatly appreciated Soline for several things she had done for us. She went out of her way to reserve tickets of Notre Dame Cathedral for us, and she had also brought us to the beautiful Luxembourg Garden to fulfill our wish. Even more impressive, she walked us from the Luxembourg Garden, through Pont Alexandre III, and along Champs-Elysees to Arc de Triomphe. We cherished Soline for walking with us through the great distance, and for looking after us so well throughout the tour. Our quiet lunch at the Luxembourg Garden, under the blue skies will forever be etched and imprinted in our hearts. We would also like to thank our other amazing tour guides - Olek, for his passion and energy that turned Louvre and Orsay into a fun and fruitful journey; Lucien, for his great little stories and lead along the alleys of Montmartre; Manu, for his humor that warmed us up while being soaked in heavy rain at the summit of the Eiffel Tower; and Laure, for her intricate tour of the Covered Passages, Bibliotheque Nationale de France, and Opera Garnier. We fell in love with Paris in our time here, and My Private Paris played a great part behind that. Without a doubt, we would love to book new tours with My Private Paris again if we return to the City of Lights.
