Very nice lookout with many places to eat and have a drink. In Zakopane a must have program. Buy your tickets online, much cheaper!!
The view is amazing 😍 Once in life need to visit ☺️ The lady who sell the tickets in that day 27.10.2025 was very unpolite, we ask her about tickets and her answer was very dezgusted. The toilets you need to pay 4zloty and if you have children and you don't pay for yourself too they not alow you to go whit your child at toilet. The shops dont have NFS so you cannot pay whit cards, just cash. The ATM exhange is very bad there soo don't take out money from they atm.
The funicular was crowded but the queue was good we got in quickly. Book online for better prices, my ticket was issued about three minutes after payment. The view was quite pretty but a little underwhelming. Would highly recommend the toboggan it was really fun, there wasn’t much to do or see after you got up tho (other than snacking).
One of the main things to do Zacopane. The cable car takes you to the mountain top in few minutes ride. The ride is beautiful and worth taking. At the top there is small shopping, food, drinks and some activities for kids and adults. You can take a one way or two way cable car ticket. If you take a one way ticket, you can climb down through a trail walk - moderate difficulty. I believe there is another path down through which even cars come to the top. That route should also be scenic to walk down. Tickets can be bought online or at the counter. The day I went there was probably a wait of 20 m to buy tickets from counter.
We came to the Funicular, but there was a huge queue — it looked like a couple of tourist buses had just arrived. So we decided to hike up on foot instead. The climb is very steep, and if you’re not used to it, it can be quite exhausting. But honestly, I’d still recommend it — it felt like a great experience and gave a real sense of achievement when we reached the top. At the top, there are lots of small shops, cafes, and bars. But keep in mind that it’s quite crowded — there are a lot of people everywhere. On the way down, we took the Funicular. I bought a ticket right there at the machine, and we only waited for about 5 minutes before boarding. The ride down was smooth and enjoyable.
