Marin was a great guide and provided a knowledgeable account of the history of Croatia and Dubrovnik. He spoke fluently (excellent English) and with a great sense of humour. The time flew by. The personal touches - his great grandfather’s life story, his grandparents conflicting views of the war in the 90s - made the tour even more special, and set in context such recent historic events and how they shape the Croatia and surrounding countries that we experience today. His pride in and love for Croatia really shone through. 100% recommended.

Had a real nice tour with Andrea upon my arrival. Lovely young women that had lots of useful information and a little history of Dubrovnik. FYI she was not lying about Giannis, life altering 👀 😂

I booked the Free Spirit Dubrovnik Walking Tour the night before on their website for the 6pm slot, and I’m so glad I did! Despite the sweltering 32°C heat, our fantastic guide Andrea made sure we always stopped in shaded areas, which was very much appreciated. Andrea was absolutely brilliant; passionate, proud of her city, and a natural storyteller. She brought Dubrovnik’s history to life with engaging stories, steering clear of the usual dry facts you often hear on tours. Her sense of humour kept everyone entertained, and you could really feel her love for the city throughout the experience. The use of headsets (a small €3 fee) made it super easy to follow everything she was saying, even in a group of around 20 people. The tour lasted about two hours, but it flew by thanks to the great pace and Andrea’s engaging style. We covered all the major sights of the Old Town, and it never felt rushed or overwhelming. To top it off, Andrea gave us some excellent local food recommendations at the end, which was the perfect way to wrap up. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Dubrovnik!

Andrea was an absolutely amazing guide around Dubrovnik. Really cool history, facts, engaging, interactive, and positive expert. She gave really interesting facts about the city upfront and answered all the questions expertly. Strongly recommend!

Marin brought history to life with fascinating stories, local insights, and plenty of humor. His passion for this stunning city is contagious, and I left with a whole new appreciation for Dubrovnik’s rich past and vibrant culture. If you’re ever in town, don’t miss the chance to take a tour with him—it’s the perfect way to see the city through the eyes of a true local!
