Very warm welcome by the owner. Perfect location to start the balcony walk. Great Omani home cooked food.
The location is truly stunning, as you can read in other reviews as well. The starting point of the Balcony Walk is just a few meters away. Considering the somewhat rugged location (we won’t soon forget the steep road leading there), it’s amazing what the cottage has to offer. A good shower with sufficient water pressure, a spacious and clean room with air conditioning, a toilet, and if you want to cook, there’s a sort of outdoor kitchen available. The owner is super friendly, and upon request, he can arrange breakfast and dinner for you. Additionally, the walk with him to a beautiful spot to enjoy the sunset was really wonderful. Highly recommended!
Good room with partial view. Nice garden. Small kitchen to own cook. Room wit AC and heating. Hot water. You can order dinner and breakfast. In January 25 I paid 30 rial and 7 rial for breakfast and dinner. Just have been asked if I need a room in souvenir point.
Review: Stayed at Balcony Walk Guest House and loved it! The location is super convenient for the Balcony Walk hike, and the views at sunset and sunrise are absolutely stunning. They offer private parking right in front of the accommodation, which is a big plus. The owner is very accommodating, providing simple yet tasty dinner and breakfast upon request. Payment is by cash, and communication was easy via WhatsApp, making the whole experience seamless. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Jebel Shams!
The owners worked really hard to make the place picturesque, which works so well with the great views of the mountains. The apartment is comfortable and well kept, and the facilities are quite nice (common kitchen accessible 24/7 is well equipped). The breakfast was served at another place just a short walk from the apartment and was good (it was a typical Omani breakfast).
