Escape the city's sweltering heat and embark on a rejuvenating private day trip to the breathtaking Pala-U Waterfall, located near the Burmese border and just a scenic drive from Hua Hin. This exclusive experience includes a delicious lunch and round-trip hotel transportation, making your holiday both relaxing and hassle-free. Pala-U Waterfall, one of the most picturesque highlights of the sprawling Kaeng Krachan National Park—Thailand’s largest protected natural area—boasts fifteen cascading levels surrounded by dense, ancient rainforest that is believed to be over a thousand years old. The tranquil environment and untouched wilderness offer an exceptional chance to spot a wide array of wildlife and bird species in their natural habitat.
As you venture into the lush jungle, the cool, refreshing waters of the waterfall provide a welcome break. While many visitors hike to the third tier, where a deep, expansive pool invites you to swim and interact with the friendly fish, others may prefer to simply soak in the serenity of the lower falls. The trek through the forest is a nature lover's delight, and those who visit between November and May are treated to an extraordinary display of vibrant butterflies fluttering amidst the foliage—one of the most enchanting natural spectacles the park has to offer. Whether you seek adventure or tranquility, this day trip to Pala-U Waterfall promises an unforgettable immersion into Thailand’s rich natural beauty.

Nice drive to the park from Hua Hin on a winding small road. 300 Baht entrance fee for non-Thais and 30 Baht per car. I picked a rainy day, which had the advantage of the park being very quiet. At most of my walk I was alone. Disadvantage is that the rocks are extremely slippery. Friendly NP staff. Some signs are just in Thai and there was no mobile signal, so I couldn't translate it. If I understand it correctly, there is NO food or drinks allowed past the second waterfall. It's a sweaty and very slippery climb though.

Pa La-U Waterfall, entrance fee 60 baht, transportation fee 30 baht, great atmosphere, very natural, clear and cool water, the way up to the waterfall is not difficult, some rocks are quite slippery, so shoes must be suitable and have good grip.

About an hour drive from Hua Hin city central to this local waterfall. The waterfall is under the park ranger maintenance and control. Theres small fee for enter. Its a great place to bring family for the time together. We visited during long weekend and theres were lots of local, foreigners and Bangkok people.

Lovely river hike upstream. I climbed to level 5 on many past occasions, but had to stop at level 3 yesterday due to rain/ wet and slipper rocks. Loved it still!

Beautiful waterfalls with 5 levels that are available for tourists. In total the waterfalls have 15 levels which you can see on a map at the entrance. You can also feed fish here with food that can be bought for 10Baht at the entrance. In addition they have a small shop to buy refreshment and snacks. If you are planning to make your way up to level 5 make sure you bring enough water as it is a quite exhausting way. You can also swim here if you want. The water is cool and refreshing. Food is not allowed after level 1 so make sure you eat before you go further. There is a checkpoint after level 1 where you have to deposit your food to make sure no food goes further than level 1 but you are allowed to bring water. Entrance fee for adult foreigners is 300 Baht and for kids 150 Baht. For thai nationals it is 60 Baht and 30 Baht for kids. Vehicles are 30 Baht and motorcycles 20 Baht
