This combo tour lets you experience the best of Reykjavík's coastal nature, combining whale watching in Faxaflói Bay with a peaceful visit to Viðey Island. On the island, stroll scenic walking paths, discover historic landmarks like Reykjavík’s oldest stone house, and enjoy artworks such as Yoko Ono’s Imagine Peace Tower and Richard Serra’s ‘Áfangar’. Viðeyjarstofa café offers summer refreshments daily from 11:00–18:00.
You can choose from three departure options: start with a 09:00 or 11:00 whale watching tour, then visit Viðey in the afternoon; or begin with an 11:50 ferry ride to Viðey and join the 17:00 whale watching cruise afterward.
