Rincon Village, the oldest village on Bonaire and the oldest continuous community in the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba, offers a deep connection to the island’s rich history. Originally settled by the Spanish in the early 1500s, Rincon was strategically placed in a valley to protect its residents from pirates and other threats. During the 17th century, enslaved people were brought to Bonaire to work in agriculture and the salt pans until emancipation in 1863. Men living in Rincon would walk a grueling 7-hour journey to the southern salt flats for work during the week and return on weekends to gather supplies at Mangazina di Rei and reunite with their families. This tour includes a stop at the Kadushi distillery, where you can sample Bonaire’s unique cactus liquor for free, followed by a visit to a local restaurant called Posada, where you’ll enjoy an authentic island meal and drink (one meal and one non-alcoholic drink included, alcohol at your own cost.

We had the best experience with this company over two days of tours! On the first day, we visited La Leona Waterfall with Leo and Bernie, and the second day we did the Buena Vista tour with Jeremy and Leo. Both experiences were absolutely amazing! The guides went above and beyond in every way — they were knowledgeable, professional, and so much fun to be around. They explained everything clearly, made sure we always felt safe, and still kept the energy light with plenty of laughs along the way. It truly felt like exploring with friends who cared about our experience. Everything was so well organized and thoughtfully done. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to enjoy Costa Rica.

We did the one-day adventure pass and we absolutely loved it! Amazing value for the activities we did. The zip lines take you across hundred foot drops over the jungle river. The white-water tubing was crazy but they kept enough tour guides around to keep it safe. The thermal springs were a very relaxing way to end the trip. Our tour guide Jon went above and beyond and made our experience that much more enjoyable. He also took some great pics!
