Rockport - Little Bay

Enjoy a unique nighttime kayaking experience on the calm waters of Little Bay in Rockport. After a short safety and paddling briefing you will launch into the shallow bay and begin paddling along a peaceful coastal route. The journey takes you near the man made oyster beds where the clear water and gentle conditions create an ideal setting for observing marine life. As you glide across the bay the soft glow from your kayak lights reveals the underwater world beneath you creating a memorable and relaxing adventure under the night sky.

During the tour you may spot a variety of marine life depending on conditions and water clarity. Mullet may leap through the illuminated water while stingrays glide across the sandy bottom. Blue crabs and other small coastal creatures may also appear beneath your kayak while shorebirds move quietly along the shoreline. The tour lasts around one and a half hours with approximately seventy five to ninety minutes spent on the water depending on wind and tide conditions.
