My husband and I just got back from our honeymoon at Sandals Dunns River and cannot stop raving about it! We stayed for 5 nights in the Coyaba Rondoval suites. Having the privacy of our own luxurious room and pools was unlike any other hotel experience. The resort is beautiful, the food surprised us with how good it was, but the thing that stuck out the most was the staff. EVERY person we encountered greeted us with friendliness, hospitality, and the willingness to do anything to make our stay that much better. Specifically, our butlers Romeo and Vivian were amazing and did everything to ensure we were comfortable, well-fed, and having fun. One of our favorite memories was when Vivian brought us lunch in a floating heart-shaped tray that we could enjoy in our pool! Shannice from the rum club was equally amazing, and we went back to the rum club a few times before dinner. The drinks she made were super good and STRONG. Natasha, our housekeeper, was so sweet and greeted us with a friendly face every day. She also spoke highly of her involvement in the Sandals Foundation, which showed her dedication to the cause outside of just working at the resort. Finally, I don’t know his name but our landscaper gave us fresh coconuts on our last day, put flowers in them, and cut the tops off so we could sip coconut water by our pool! It was such a thoughtful gesture that really speaks to the service here. I’d highly recommend booking for a vacation or honeymoon if your goal is to relax and not lift a finger.
My fiancé and I went to celebrate our 18th year anniversary and couldn’t have asked for a better vacation. We stayed in a rondoval which was centrally located on the property. We had two butlers Dexter and Ricardo. They went above and beyond to make our stay everything that we wanted and were there to help in anyway they could from cart rides to dinner, reservations for the cabana, afternoon snacks, to decorating our room for our anniversary! Everyone from housekeeping, landscaping, waitstaff , to photographers were amazing, polite, and friendly. Food options were great and the food was amazing! We ate at a different restaurant everyday. We had everything from surf and turf, shrimp, pasta, pizza, to cheeseburgers and fries (can’t forget the breakfast buffet) The experienced bartenders made any drink we asked for and when we ran out of ideas, Naji had suggestions and I think introduced me to one of my new favorites!! Oh and I cannot forget the drink of the day! Definitely some of the best drinks I’ve ever had! The activities throughout the week were fun and entertaining. We made candles, did bottle painting, made jewelry, we went on a glass bottom boat ride, went kayaking, and got a couples massage on the beach! The only thing I could have wished for, more time to do even more activities!
My stay at the resort was enjoyable and full of fun. We were there celebrating my friends, forty third wedding anniversary. There were twenty two of us to enjoy this special occasion. We enjoyed the food and drink poolside, and at the bars on the Resort. Are butlers Eshaan and Dejahnae were the absolute best. They were on point every day, this duo will be requested when we return to Dunn's Rivers sandals. All requests that we had were met with smiles and delightful conversation. Again, our state was enjoyable, relaxing. And once again a time we will never forget. We will return home again. V/r David Murrell
Beautiful resort and an amazing staff. Every meal was delicious. Cocktails were great. Excursions were fun. Rooms were comfortable and safe. Our butler Eshaan is the best and represented Sandals with care and consideration for her guest to make our stay memorable and amazing. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
Overall, great experience! Special shout out to two amazing butlers, Eshaun and Dejanine! Eshaun is the best in comparison to all of the Sandals resorts and we have vacationed at plenty! They made our experience, completely relaxing, fun, stress-free, and beautiful! Love the lapisdus lounge, such a perfect retreat for a cocktail at the end of the day. The food at Edesa was wonderful, however, the service was exceedingly slow, 45 minutes to get your food. Huge shout out to the rum bar, amazing ambience, delicious, oxtail sliders, and great rum flights.
