Discover the inspiring story of Juliette Daisy Gordon Low at her historic birthplace through an engaging program that celebrates creativity and leadership. During this experience Girl Scouts explore the childhood home of the founder of the Girl Scouts and learn about her life as a daughter artist traveler and visionary leader. As participants move through the rooms of her girlhood home they hear stories about how she challenged expectations of her time and encouraged girls to explore their talents and imagination.

The program also focuses on Juliette passion for art and storytelling which played an important role in her life and in early Girl Scout activities. Inspired by women artists of the progressive era participants step into the role of members of an artist collective preparing for a creative exhibition. Through hands on activities and collaboration they explore artistic expression and storytelling. At the end of the session participants receive a take home activity that helps them organize their own small art show and continue their creative journey.
