Embark on a remarkable journey through the breathtaking landscapes of northern Tunisia, where nature, history, and culture blend seamlessly. Your adventure begins in the coastal city of Bizerte, where the charming medina invites you to stroll through its narrow alleys, discover local traditions, and enjoy views of the old port set against a backdrop of Mediterranean beauty. From there, travel to the windswept cliffs of Cap Angela—the northernmost point of the African continent—where panoramic views and dramatic coastline make for an unforgettable experience.
The journey continues with a visit to Ichkeul National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its ecological significance. This protected area, accessible only with special authorization (arranged for you), is a sanctuary for migratory birds and rare species. Accompanied by an expert guide in local flora and fauna, you’ll gain deeper insight into this extraordinary environment through a professional wildlife-watching tour. Definitely worth the drive - the last bit is somewhat rough, but even my tiny Suzuki managed it. Go park at the parking and walk the remains distance, also not worth the drive up to the lighthouse.

Amazing place that one cannot miss in Tunisia. We were a group of 2 and took a louage from tunis to bizerte for 6 dinar per person then a taxi to the other side of the city for 2 dinar. From there we continued to a small village near cap angela with a louage for 3 dinar. After that we negotiated and the driver took us to cap angela with 20min to spare there and then back to bizerte for 50 dinar total.

A monumental view and a location that should be on your bucket list if you’re an enthusiastic traveler. Expect some driving adventure to get there as part of the road is unpaved and sandy but no 4 wheel drive is required. But you must be brave and have faith that the bumps will have an end and there is a sight to be seen at the end of the road. The small beach is in a peaceful cove. It is a short walk from the parking lot and is one of the cleanest you can swim in. It has sand and also rocks on another side. You can see the bottom of the sea very clearly whether you open your eyes above or under the surface of the water. The shimmering turquoise lights are pleasure to the senses. The place was peaceful and only a few people were there on a weekday in June. The beach has small cabanas and umbrellas for rent if you need to and a food concession.

Where ever I travel to, I try to find places just like this! Of course, they are touristy but they are a great photo spot! We traveled from Tunis and this was a lovely ride. Great scenery, great people, and an easy ride to the northern tip of the great continent of Africa. When you get there you definitely have to pull off the road and park. You'll need to walk to the beach and to the photo spot. A great statue of the African continent and a huge flag of Tunisia awaits you. Only a few people were around when we were there and we loved that. It was quite windy in March. Make sure this is on your Tunisia checklist!

An exciting and new experience added to my personal life book! The most northern point of Africa! A truly magical and beautiful nature environment all around it. The monuments itself is real historical landmarks! If you guys ever thinking to visit Tunisia, this place is almost the must see, and visit! :)
