Do yourself a favor and book David as your tour guide when coming to Israel. Others in our group had been with David before, but this was my first time touring with David. We went all over the country, but it never seemed very far due to traveling with David. He was able to give us several different perspectives on the background of each site we visited and his stories always had us laughing every step of the way. I came as a visitor, but left as a friend.

A guide can mean all the difference on any trip, but especially one to a country with a long and complex history such as Israel. David Zwebner's family first settled in Israel in 1871. He pulled from that deep history and knowledge during our tour of the many sites throughout the country to provide incredible detail and background to what we were seeing. He has a thorough knowledge of the three major religions, along with expertise in architecture, geology, politics, geography, and history to provide incredible context to each area and time period. David brought Israel to life for us, not just what we saw, but the geopolitical background and history of the land that made us feel like we understood what it was like during that time for each site. However, the best part of having David as our guide was simply spending time with him. He is a thoughtful and enjoyable person with amazing storytelling abilities. In just a few days, we became like good friends and we looked forward to seeing him each morning for our next adventure. David will speak with you to understand your background and interests and will recommend a tailored itinerary for your visit. He'll also likely surprise you with a few added gems along the way. You'd be lucky to have David as your guide and we highly recommend him. He'll be our first call when planning our next trip to this beautiful country.

David is the best tour guide I have ever had in Israel. I have been to Israel on three different occasions and have had several tour guides but none better than David. He is more knowledgeable than all the rest compared. As a Christian, David showed my wife and I both Christian and Jewish history. He made Israel come alive. We plan another trip next year and I am already in contact with David to show us around again.
