Full Day Miner's Run Loop

Begin an unforgettable off road adventure from Pitkin and explore the rugged beauty of the Colorado mountains. The route leads through the historic Alpine Tunnel area where riders follow the path of one of the earliest railroads that crossed the Continental Divide. Along the trail you will discover fascinating mining remains historic landmarks and wide mountain landscapes. As the journey continues the trail climbs higher into rocky terrain where powerful vehicles navigate steep paths and rough mountain roads.

The route continues across Hancock Pass rising above twelve thousand feet with breathtaking views of alpine scenery and colorful mountain wildflowers. Riders then descend toward the historic ghost town of St Elmo before climbing again toward Tin Cup Pass. Along the way you may pass Mirror Lake and the quiet town of Tin Cup before making the final ascent across Cumberland Pass. This adventure offers a mix of mountain history dramatic scenery and exciting off road driving through some of the most beautiful high elevation landscapes in Colorado.
