This two day paddling course is designed to help beginners and enthusiasts learn safe confident and efficient canoe techniques in a supportive environment. Under the guidance of experienced instructors you will practice clean paddling in a straight line while learning how to control direction through steering edging and essential paddle strokes. The training introduces fundamental techniques such as forward strokes bow strokes draw strokes and stabilizing movements that help maintain balance on the water. Participants also learn how to react calmly if the boat becomes unstable including bracing techniques that greatly reduce the chance of capsizing during normal paddling situations.

Practical safety skills are an important part of the program. You will practice safe re entry from the water learn how to recover the boat and gain confidence navigating larger bodies of water. Because water training can be wet participants are provided with a wetsuit along with key paddling equipment for comfort and safety. No previous experience is required making the course suitable for beginners who want to explore canoeing for the first time. The training is conducted by qualified canoe instructors and focuses on hands on learning practical safety knowledge and building confidence so that participants can paddle smoothly safely and enjoy the experience on lakes and rivers.
