The adventure begins with a warm welcome as your guide picks you up from Kakslauttanen and takes you to a traditional husky farm surrounded by the quiet beauty of the northern winter landscape. Upon arrival you will be provided with thermal outfits to ensure comfort in the crisp Arctic air. Soon you will meet the friendly and energetic husky dogs who wait eagerly in front of their sledges. These remarkable dogs are naturally enthusiastic about running and their excitement fills the air with joyful energy. Before the journey begins the guide explains how to guide the sledge including simple techniques for stopping turning and maintaining balance while riding. Each sledge is shared by two guests where one stands behind and drives while the other relaxes comfortably in the sleigh seat.

Once the journey begins you will glide through peaceful snowy forests surrounded by sparkling white scenery and the rhythmic sound of paws moving across the snow.
