Reindeer Safari

The journey begins with a friendly guide welcoming guests at Kakslauttanen and escorting them to a peaceful reindeer farm surrounded by Arctic wilderness. At the farm guests receive warm thermal outfits designed to keep them comfortable in the crisp northern air. Before the adventure begins there is time to meet the gentle reindeer and capture memorable photographs in the snowy landscape. Soon after guests settle into a traditional wooden sledge covered with soft blankets while the reindeer slowly guide the ride through silent forests and open white fields. As the ride ends guests are welcomed into a warm and cozy traditional herders shelter known as a kota.
