Husky Safari 2hrs (11:30am & 12:30pm)

The adventure begins with a comfortable pickup from Kakslauttanen and a warm welcome at the husky farm. Upon arrival guests are provided with thermal outfits that keep everyone cozy in the crisp Arctic air. Soon after you will meet the enthusiastic husky dogs waiting patiently in front of their sledges. These energetic dogs love to run and their excitement is contagious as the guide introduces the team. Before the journey begins the guide carefully explains how to control the husky sledge including how to stop guide and turn while traveling through snowy trails. The sledge is usually shared by two guests where one person sits comfortably in the sleigh while the other stands at the back and drives the team through the forest path.

Once everything is ready the huskies dash forward and the ride through the peaceful winter forest begins. Snow covered trees quiet trails and the rhythm of the sled gliding across the snow create a magical Arctic experience. Midway through the journey guests can swap roles so everyone has the chance to drive and enjoy the thrill of guiding the eager dogs. The ride is not only exciting but also deeply scenic as the natural beauty of the winter landscape surrounds you. After returning to the farm it is time to thank the hardworking huskies for their adventure together. Guests can then relax with a warm drink while listening to interesting husky stories shared by the guide making the experience both memorable and heartwarming.
