Disappointed. Over the last few years it’s become effectively a shopping and eating establishment that you have to pay to get in to and lost its historical story line
The Old Harbour, once a historic spot, now feels more like a village for wealthy boat owners. While it has some charm, it doesn't offer much beyond expensive yachts and upscale properties. Honestly, it could be avoided if you're looking for a more authentic or engaging experience. Not quite what we expected.
An excellent place for a blend of history and hiking. We tried Nelson's official rum punch and a tasty no-dairy pastry from the bakery. We explored old fort ruins and hiked a well maintained trail. We hope to come back and spend more time.
